One of the goals of Trivium Magazine is to find ways to forge and deepen community by inviting our readers to contribute in some way to each issue. 

We are currently accepting articles (500-3,000 words), reflections, poetry, short stories, artwork, photography, and recipes for any of the upcoming issues and themes listed below.

We are particularly looking for articles that skillfully weave together the mundane and sublime aspects of life with clarity, insight, and humor.

Our upcoming themes and deadlines are:

  • Spring 2026 (Savoring) – Extended Submissions Deadline: February 14, 2026
  • Summer 2026 (TBD) – Deadline: May 1, 2026
  • Autumn 2026 (TBD) – Deadline: August 1, 2026
  • Winter 2026 (TBD) – Deadline: November 1, 2026

*NOTE: This does not need to be your final draft. Our submission process includes a review and editing phase where we will work with you to prepare your piece for publication.
 
A note on submission review: Due to the large volume of submissions, it is best for us to wait until after the submission deadline to communicate with writers. If you have not heard from us, be assured we are diligently reviewing your work, but we are not able to make final decisions until we are closer to publication.

Upcoming Theme: Spring 2026 – Savoring

This spring, we invite you to join us as we savor the finer things in life. From bounteous picnics to those first crocuses that shoot up in spring, classical music concerts and artisan baked goods, newborn cuddles and childhood innocence, fragrant incense at Mass and sweet champagne, savoring calls is to pause and slowly enjoy the good life with all of our senses.
